About our PRIDE in LAW – 2021 Limited Edition PRIDE Caselaw Shirt

There’s a lot of PRIDE in law. Especially, in Canadian caselaw.

LGBTQ2S+, non-binary and gender diverse equality rights are hard won, and their fight shouldn’t be forgotten.

Remembering those who fought and the legal cases that shaped Canadian law is why Lady Justice Apparel™ designed our 2021 Limited Edition PRIDE Caselaw shirt.

We couldn’t fit every legal case on the 2021 Limited Edition PRIDE Caselaw Shirt. But we believe every person should know the legal history behind the fight to recognize sexual orientation as grounds of discrimination under the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms,  the right for LGBTQI2S+ persons to serve in the Canadian military, same-sex marriage and adding gender identity and gender expression to the human rights code to name a few.

Because the fight for equality and equity isn’t over. LGBTQI2S+, non-binary and gender diverse Canadians continue to fight to expand rights.
