Giving Back
Giving back is in the DNA of the Lady Justice Apparel™ brand
Lady Justice Apparel™ started as a way to give back by helping legal clinics and programs raise money. A portion of our net sales from each collection or limited edition apparel is donated to a legal clinic or legal program.

2021 was the first International Women’s Day for Lady Justice Apparel™. As a microbusiness with a consciously collective working style dedicated to giving back to legal clinics and legal programs focused on giving back, we didn’t know how our first design for International Women’s Day would work. We were in the thick of the pandemic. But we were determined to give back.
Thankfully, we found an IWD partner who believed in supporting women’s legal initiatives as much as we do — Lerners LLP.
Partnering with Lerners LLP, we developed the #LernersExclusive 3-month long campaign. Working with our “A Woman’s Place…is Always on the Supreme Court” design, we created our first IWD shirt. A portion of each shirt sold went to support the Barbra Schlifer Commemorative Clinic in Toronto.
Lady Justice Apparel™ raised over $2,000 dollars from our IWD 2021 campaign. Lerners LLP generously matched the funds raised. Together, we raised more than $4,000 to support the work of the Schlifer Clinic.
The Barbra Schlifer Commemorative Clinic provides legal services, legal representation, trauma informed therapeutic counselling along with multilingual interpretation services to diverse women who experienced violence.
